Mamie has practiced as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, primarily in Tarrant County. She has over 6 years of Judicial experience as a County and City Judge.

Mamie received her undergraduate from the University of Texas at Arlington and her law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
